Alliance Home Health Care Services supports families that are providing dementia care for loved ones diagnosed with this disease and memory loss. We understand that caregiving can be very demanding on a spouse or other family members and at times it is difficult to get a much-needed break. But by using respite care services, family and friends are better able to take care of themselves and serve as a better caregiver to their loved one. Alliance offers services that give caregivers a rest while the person with dementia continues to receive the care they need while remaining safe in their home.
At Alliance Home Health Care Services, we help you and your loved one to better understand dementia and the proper way to treat the disease. It is important to work with your doctors and medical professionals to properly diagnose the type of dementia that your loved one has and the type of care they need. Once you receive a proper diagnosis, our Alliance Home Health Care team can work with you to help you understand the disease and the best way for it to be treated. Our caregivers provide your loved one with all of their care needs. We set up an individualized dementia care plan and outline what special activities, outings and things we can do to make certain that they follow their normal routine.
When we meet and discuss the needs of the families and individuals caring for their loved ones, we find that in many instances there are things that are constant. Many people need:

We know that many people have to overcome the feeling of guilt at not being able to provide 24-hour care 365 days a week to their loved one with dementia. We try to ask that person when we meet with them, “What happens to your husband (or wife) if something happens to you?"
A trained caregiver can ensure well-being by providing individualized dementia care and/or Alzheimer's care while you take that much needed break.
